1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MockTestPrepAI (mocktestprepai.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

2. Description of Service

MockTestPrepAI provides AI-powered mock tests for PTE Academic, IELTS Academic, and TOEFL iBT examinations. Our services include AI-generated questions, automated scoring, pronunciation assessment, writing evaluation, personalized study plans, text-based practice exercises, and AI tutor chat.

Important disclaimer: MockTestPrepAI is an independent test preparation platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Pearson (PTE), British Council/IDP (IELTS), or ETS (TOEFL). Our mock tests simulate the format of these exams but are not official practice tests.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. One account per person — multiple accounts may be terminated without notice.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

MockTestPrepAI offers free and paid subscription plans. Key terms:

• No auto-renewal: All subscriptions are one-time payments for a fixed period (monthly or yearly). Your plan expires at the end of the billing period. You must manually renew from your dashboard.
• Pricing: Prices are displayed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
• Payment processing: All payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• Free tier: The free plan includes limited features (1 full test lifetime, limited section practice, no audio features). Free users may see advertisements.
• Pay-per-test: One-time test purchases include Pro-level features and do not expire.

5. Refund Policy

Please see our Refund Policy for detailed information. Key points:

• No refunds once a test or practice session has been started
• Refunds may be considered within 48 hours of purchase if no tests have been taken
• Pay-per-test purchases are non-refundable once the test has been generated

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, or resell test content, questions, or AI-generated feedback
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI scoring or question generation systems
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Circumvent free tier limits or subscription restrictions

7. AI-Generated Content

Our test questions, scoring, feedback, study plans, and tutor responses are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI scores are estimates and may not exactly match official exam scores
• AI scoring correlates r=0.75-0.85 with human examiners, which is comparable to inter-rater reliability
• AI-generated content should not be treated as official exam material
• Study plans and tutor advice are suggestions, not guarantees of score improvement

8. Intellectual Property

All content on MockTestPrepAI — including AI-generated questions, scoring algorithms, website design, blog content, and branding — is the property of MockTestPrepAI. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your test answers, audio recordings, and written responses remain your property. You grant us a license to process them for scoring and platform improvement purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

MockTestPrepAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Differences between mock test scores and official exam scores
• Technical failures, downtime, or data loss
• Decisions made based on our AI scoring or study recommendations
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions are not refunded upon self-deletion.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which MockTestPrepAI operates. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
